Terms of service

These terms apply to everyone who uses vmsbd.cloud or writes to Safia. A signed contract with VMS comes first where the two differ.

Who you deal with

VMS is run by Vehicle Management System Technologies Bangladesh, a sole proprietorship at Venus Complex, Kha-199/3, Merul Badda, Dhaka 1212, Bangladesh, trade licence TRAD/DNCC/041198/2025 (Dhaka North City Corporation).

The service

VMS is a technology marketplace. It connects businesses and individuals who need transport, for Rental and Pick & Drop, with independent fleet owners and drivers who provide it. It also gives fleets and companies the software to run bookings, routes, tracking and billing digitally instead of on paper.

VMS does not own vehicles or employ drivers. Every trip is run by an independent fleet partner.

Maps and travel times in VMS come from Google Maps. By using them you also agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Accounts

  • Give true details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in to yourself. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
  • A company's admins are responsible for the staff accounts they add and for switching Safia on or off for them.

Bookings and payment

Businesses pay the prices and terms in their contract, against our invoices. Individual bookings are paid in cash to the driver at the price shown when you book.

Automated help

VMS support is assisted by automated tools.

Safia, our booking assistant, reads your email or WhatsApp message and prepares a booking. Anything unclear goes to a person. Check the confirmation she sends; a booking counts only once it is confirmed.

What you may not do

  • Scrape the site, access it with bots or scripts, or copy data from it in bulk.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or try to get around the site's security or limits.
  • Upload false papers or pretend to be someone else.
  • Use other people's details for anything except the trip they are on.
  • Use VMS for anything unlawful.

Fleets and drivers

Fleet owners keep every vehicle's papers valid and every driver licensed, and follow the traffic laws. A vehicle or driver whose papers lapse cannot take trips until they are renewed.

Suspension and closing

We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, puts riders at risk or is used for fraud. We tell you why unless the law stops us. You may close your account at any time; trips already confirmed and invoices already issued still stand.

Liability

VMS runs the marketplace and the software. Trips are run by independent fleet owners and drivers, who are responsible for their vehicles, the driving and their conduct. We are not liable for the trip itself or for indirect losses such as lost profit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid VMS for the platform in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Tell us first and we will try to settle it; if we cannot, the courts of Dhaka decide.

Changes and contact
